John R. Mace earned his bachelor degree in Business Administration at Pacific Lutheran University.
After working several years for Boeing on the development of the 757 and 767, he left that for a career with Alaska Airlines where he was a Flight Attendant trainer. Starting his spiritual journey in 1984 after the death of his father, John was fully engaged with some of the most profound mentors and spiritual leaders in the Northwest.

Successfully completing two Masters, and course work in a doctorate he traveled to Mexico, Australia, Asia and Europe for experiential cultural and spiritual training. After several years of Native American studies, John has integrated these experiences into a highly successful therapeutic practice. His patients continue to express profound change. The Seattle Weekly in 2007, noted John as the best therapist in Seattle, in a story titled: “Best Person to Get you Off Your Ass”. He currently is living in Seattle with his new Beagle puppy and continuing to write several books on both psychological and spiritual development, in addition to conducting private psychological counseling.
